Ronanoke

In 1587, John White led a bedraggled group of one hundred and eighteen English men, women, and children to the New World to begin a new life. The colonists landed on Roanoke Island, North Carolina. Faced with dwindling supplies and hostile Native American neighbors, White returned to England to seek aid, leaving the colony behind, along with his daughter and son-in-law—Elinor and Ananias Dare—and his newborn granddaughter Virginia, the first English child born in the New World.

Delayed by the Spanish war, White returned in 1590 to discover—nothing. Everything and everyone was gone. Vanished without a trace. All that was left was a clearing and the word Croatoan carved into a tree.

For over four hundred years, the Lost Colony of Roanoke has remained a mystery.

Until now. And all hell’s about to break loose.
